To prepare a disinfectant room spray the ingredients are lavender oil 15drops, lemon oil 8 drops, eucalyptus oil 2 drops and water 1/4 cup. Combine all these and bottle it in a spray container and shake before use. Similarly, squeezing lemon into the vacuum bag saves you from paying a fortune for spray cans and you can achieve freshness in your house.

Another best homemade air freshener is the cinnamon. Sprinkling cinnamon at the bottom of a pan and heating it on the stove fills your house with the baking scent. This smell is not overpowering, but you cannot smell anything else. Similarly, keeping some eucalyptus is one of the ideal and simple ways of having a wonderful aroma for months. The odor of eucalyptus is strong initially but settles down to a pleasant smell.

A small bottle of vanilla with water placed in the bathroom is also an apposite air freshener. You can add some almond extract to water and place it in a bowl. This is one of the air freshener that is homemade and simple. Adding vanilla with clove also gives a vivid aroma and is refreshing.
